All registered Cub Scouts in the Pack should have received their Passport to Summertime Adventure in the mail this week! The Summertime Award can only be earned during… you guessed it… the summer! Attend one event each month over the summer to earn this uniform pin. A different pin is earned each Rank year. The Outdoor Adventure Award can be worked on throughout the entire year, but summer is a great time to get started on it, and you earn a cool pocket patch. You can also download the calendar and award information on our Calendar page. Please watch Scoutbook and our Pack Facebook page for event information. We look forward to seeing you this summer!
New to Pack 7? Now is a great time to join and meet your den members. Contact us for more information!
Congratulations to all of our Cub Scouts who completed their Rank this year! Great job Cubs and families on your year of adventures, camping, hiking, aquatics, and lots of fun. See everyone Saturday 5/15 at the end of year party, and get ready for our Summer Events including Summer Camp. Regular Monday meeting will resume in August after school starts

Scouting for Food is an annual food drive organized by the BSA each January. This year we will be donating our collected food to our Chartered Organization’s food bank, to thank St Thomas for supporting our Pack 7 Cub Scout program since 1988. In 2020, Pack 7 and Troop 177 donated over 100lbs of food to Metropolitan Ministries!
Register here for either hanger drop-off or food collection dates: Registration is now closed. Thank you!
Update: We collected 250+lbs of food for the St Thomas Aquinas food pantry. Thank you to all the Pack 7 Cub Scouts who volunteered for this service project!
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions. Every den has at least one adventure that requires an annual service project.
Our Pinewood Derby build workshop will be Monday Jan 18 from 6p-8p. There is no regular Den meeting that night. Bring tools to share or come borrow some! Adults will be on-hand with power tools to help you shape your best 2021 Pinewood Derby car. The official Pack 7 Pinewood Derby is Saturday, February 6, 2021.
Here are some tools to help you with your design!
See you at the track!

Pack 7 will be participating in the annual Coastal Clean-Up. Den leaders will be arranging volunteers and locations for their dens to keep groups smaller and follow social distancing guidelines. This is an annual clean-up that Pack 7 has participated in for several years, usually at Werner-Boyce Salt Springs State Park. Due to COVID-19 the state park is not participating, so we will be helping out at several county and city parks!
In-person pack meetings have returned beginning with the school year. Meetings are every Monday except for Pasco public school holidays. Please join us from 7pm-8pm. Contact us for more information. We are happy to welcome back everyone to the Pack, as we follow our social distancing requirements for safe but fun and productive meetings.
The Great Pack 7 will be participating in the sixth annual “Scouts Trash the Trash Day”. Due to COVID-19, this will be an individual activity, but Cub Scouts are encouraged to invite a non-Scouting friend along and use their gloves and safe social distancing to make a difference in his community. Please post your photos in our Facebook group!
We are a Cub Scout Pack based in New Port Richey, FL. We welcome boys and girls in grades K-5. Our meetings are held at Deer Park Elementary School. Our Pack meets each week during the school year on Monday nights from 7pm-8pm, as well as fellowship events and camps during the summer. Our Pack recently celebrated its 33-year anniversary! We are part of the Suncoast District of the Greater Tampa Bay Area Council. Although we are chartered by Trinity Presbyterian Church of Seven Springs, and grateful for their ongoing support of our program, you do not have to be a member of the church to participate in Pack 7; we welcome Cub Scouts of all beliefs and backgrounds. Click here for more information.
This summer all in-person June summer camps have been cancelled. Our council is offering both virtual camps and in-person abbreviated camp options in July and August. Summer Camps are a great opportunity to enjoy fellowship in the outdoors, and start working on the upcoming year’s rank adventures. Special awards like Shooting Sports in archery, wrist rockets, and BB-guns can only be earned at camp or council events as well. For more information or to register, click here.
